Why we're rebranding.
When we launched in 2020, mobile was the dominant force bringing Africans online and into financial systems. In 2026, the frontier is broader: digital identity, AI, cloud, satellite connectivity, open data, and a continent-wide free trade area built on digital rails. Digital Technology for Development (DT4D)reflects that wider canvas — without losing what made MT4D distinctive: rigorous policy conversation, practical case studies, and a relentless focus on people.
